The Science
From a scientific physiological perspective, acupuncture is thought to stimulate the nerves, muscles, and connective tissue. This stimulation can lead to the release of endorphins, which are the body's natural painkillers. It can also stimulate circulation, which can help reduce inflammation and promote healing.
Acupuncture has been shown to affect various physiological processes in the body, such as reducing inflammation, increasing blood flow, and activating the body's natural healing mechanisms. Research also suggests that acupuncture may influence the release of neurotransmitters in the brain, such as serotonin and dopamine, which can help regulate pain and mood.
Overall, acupuncture is thought to work by modulating the body's nervous system and influencing various physiological processes to promote overall health and well-being.
The Spiritual
From a spiritual perspective, acupuncture is believed to work by balancing the flow of energy, or Qi, throughout the body and the acupuncture channels. According to Chinese medicine theory, illness and disease are caused by disruptions or blockages in the flow of Qi. Acupuncture aims to restore balance by unblocking these pathways and allowing energy to flow freely through the body.
From a spiritual standpoint, acupuncture is seen as a way to tap into and harness the body's natural healing abilities. By promoting balance and harmony, acupuncture can help to restore physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
Acupuncture can also help to release emotional blockages and negative energy stored in the body, leading to a deeper sense of spiritual connection and personal growth.
Ultimately, it is a holistic healing modality that addresses the interconnectedness of nature, and the body, mind, and spirit. By restoring balance and harmony, acupuncture can help individuals to live more fully and in alignment with their true selves.

Acupuncture + Flower Essences and Elixirs
“ Flower elixirs are liquid infusions of fresh flowers. They consist of water that contains the bioenergetic imprint of the flowers. This energetic imprint travels through the acupuncture meridians. Close your eyes and imagine yourself in a rose garden - notice how you feel when thinking about the big, colorful, fruity and powdery-scented roses filling your nose.
Now imagine yourself walking in a vast field of wild white daisies, waving back and forth in the breeze and the sunshine.
HOW DO YOU FEEL?
How about a redwood forest? Or burying your face in a bunch of huge ruffly peonies? Or sitting underneath a willow tree? Or admiring a pristine pink lotus or water lily in a pond?
DID YOU NOTICE HOW EVEN JUST THE VISUALIZATION OF DIFFERENT FLOWERS AND TREES MAKES YOU FEEL COMPLETELY DIFFERENT?
That feeling that you feel - whether in reality or through visualization - is indicative of the benefits and special qualities of that particular flower, tree or plant.
Those qualities can be captured, collected and infused into water, Mother Nature's greatest recording device. Water, like the shiny substate on CD's or the magnetic strip inside cassette tapes, records information. In this case water can retain the special qualities of a flower.
Flower elixirs work through the acupuncture meridians to shift our state of mind, often within minutes, with an exponential effect over time. “
